The Daily Dot - Facebook's "queen of tax fraud" gets 21 years in prison

The problem that I see is that she ACTIVELY tells them she is committing tax fraud... and the scary thing is, that's probably the only reason they could catch her... she stole 3 million... what about those who have stolen more or done worse, why is their prison sentence shorter than hers... I don't get that either...

Wow, the judge "forbade her from hugging her children"

Good for the judge.

That's the first I've heard of anything exactly like that...I need to get out of my cave more often...kinda funny how she blamed being a crackheads kid as a plea for a softer sentence though...dumbass disease crosses all barriers race, religion and creed it seems.

The only thing upsetting about this is that the IRS was too poorly run to prevent things like that and all that taxpayer money is gone forever.

There will always be cons and crooks so lack of controls like this are what upset me.

That is what happens when you cut back the funding to the IRS, you are basically asking them to do more with less resources and less people. Things like this will get missed because of that.

IRS workers were probably laughing. C'mon how many times have you hated your job and they got into trouble.

Karma.

Tax cheats and ponzi schemers get more jail time than child molesters and rapists.

Kinda makes one think, doesn't it?
