I don't take your threads seriously, but I sure am enjoying your spreading of paranoia about various dire threats we must all face. I actually look forward to your threads. You're almost like a one-man Onion.

I, for one, take his threads very, very seriously. And I am thankful for a 24 hour Home Depot in my area... for one can never have enough duct tape to secure their home.

Use the money we spend on sending drug addicts to jail on TREATMENT.
I think it would be less money in the long run than building more prisons.
Addiction is a disease.
Stop criminalizing the disease and treat it for what it is.
If treatment doesn't work the first time, send them for more.
We all know when they get out of jail without treatment, they are doomed to going back.

I know though it's almost as though he himself is on something sometimes... Is it really possible to achieve this heightened sense of self righteousness and paranoia naturally ? I'm not convinced. |

Free coke, booze and opiate to all drug addicts. Problem will solve itself pretty quickly while crimes needed to pay for the addictions will not be needed. So no more dope gangs, no more dope crime and soon a lot fewer dopers.
Sometimes my callousness scares me.
