Everything in Obama's past was about a Marxist revolution, and many, if not most, of his appointees ("czars") have been of the same ilk.

Applause!

You understand something the bots never will. Well, perhaps when they move out of their parents' house and have to work for a living.

Obama is exactly what MLK was fighting against. MLK was advocating that we should treat people equally regardless of skin color. Obama hates that thought.

"

So why is there no effort to eliminate judgement by the color of one's skin? Why are Obama, Jackson and Sharpton not making speeches about eliminating discrimination by color of skin? In fact, most of our leaders (and especially Obama) are doing just the opposite. Skin color today is more important than ever. Almost everything our government does and almost every law it passes has skin color as a critical part. You can't get a government contract without determining skin color. The government census has skin color. College admission is about skin color. Small business loans are about skin color. Etc.

So when are we going to stop focusing on skin color and achieve MLK's dream? It would start with eliminating all questions about skin color on every government form and eliminating all laws that have provisions regarding skin color.

Wake up America! We are not moving forward.
You're confusing brown and black people talking about their experiences as brown and black people, and being honest about discrimination that they still face, with discrimination. My guess is that you do it deliberately, because someone in the far RWNJ media told you that would be an effective counter to brown and black people telling the truth. The only place that argument works is in the little echo chamber where you all live. The rest of the world sees it for what it is, and shakes their heads.

So, are you comparing blacks to the tortoise?

The American idea the idea of self government, based on the above propositions, and "with liberty and justice for all", is the best idea in the history of man. There are no other newer ideas. Socialism, Marxism, "Progressivism" (Socialism) are all old, tried, and failed ideas.

You can stay in Italy. You belong there. Benito Mussolini is probably one of your heros.
Yes, I will definitely stay in Italy. People here (and elsewhere) aren't so easily fooled into thinking that "all people are created equal."

People are not equal. The hare always finishes before the tortoise. --At least in real life anyway.

The "opportunities that present themselves" to a poor boy in the mountains are NOT the same opportunities that "present themselves" to the rich boy in the upper class suburbs. Not by a long shot.

This is real life.

Peace.

You are very confused. People make choices. The "poor boy in the mountains" does not have to remain in the mountains. But, many people prefer to live in the mountains and not the city.

You are confusing "created equal" with something physical. One can change their circumstances.

But, what our founders meant by "all men are created equal," is that they are created equal in value and standing before God. That all are "endowed with certain unalieanable rights."

Our form of government was established to acknowledge those unalienable rights, and to protect them, so that all men have the liberty and freedom to become whatever they wish, and to pursue "happiness" as they define it, even if that is to live life in the mountains, away from the congestion and the hustle and bustle of the city.

The purpose of government is NOT, to guarantee the "economic equality" of all (an abhorant term) or to establish "economic democracy" (to use another equally abhorant term that is often used by the Left). Such a government is by very nature, tyrannical and oppressive, a government with such power which was exactly what our Founders feared, and such powers which they intentionally did not grant.

The "founding fathers" had slaves. Think about it.

We are NOT all equal in real life. The boy in the mountains does NOT have the same opportunities. (But it's easy to say he does when we're the ones with all the opportunities.)

Yes, slavery was common in the world then, as it still is today (or haven't you noticed?).

America was not the first country to have saves. But we ended slavery. Think about that.

I already answered that. You are speaking physically. The founders were speaking of standing before God.

Peace.

Racial descrimination does not exist today as it did fifty years ago. If it did, it would not have been possible for Obama to become President (as Juan Williams noted recently, who, by the way, is a liberal). Juan was being more honest than the crowd of race baters who reside in the Democrat Party.

But the race bating Democrats want you to believe that it does, because that maintains their power.

Note also that it was Democrats who were screaming "racism" all during the George Zimmerman trial, and completely ignoring Trayvon Martin's own racism (evidence which the media conveniently left out of all reporting — and Obama, "If I had a son, he would look like Trayvon," is, I guess, acknowledgement that if Obama had a son he would be a thug too?)

This is how they perpetuate the lie that America is "still a racist country," by using such cases to their advantage, with the complicity of the Leftist media.

But, it is the Democrat Party that is doing it's level best to oppress blacks and to ensure that they do not achieve. If they did, they wouldn't need Democrats.

And this is the "honest discussion" that we should be having, Eric Holder!

It's too hard to achieve.

Given the opportunity, most people will take the easy route.

Progressive policies have made it far too easy for people to be comfortable in poverty.

Look at how the left bash ANY successful black conservative who dare speak out.

(I know that more white people are on welfare, but we're talking about blacks here)
