We celebrated the 50th anniversary of Martin Luther King Jr.’s iconic “I Have a Dream” speech but so little attention is paid to exactly what he said and even less action to achieve his dream. The phrase which captures the essence of the entire speech is "I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character. "
So why is there no effort to eliminate judgement by the color of one's skin? Why are Obama, Jackson and Sharpton not making speeches about eliminating discrimination by color of skin? In fact, most of our leaders (and especially Obama) are doing just the opposite. Skin color today is more important than ever. Almost everything our government does and almost every law it passes has skin color as a critical part. You can't get a government contract without determining skin color. The government census has skin color. College admission is about skin color. Small business loans are about skin color. Etc.
So when are we going to stop focusing on skin color and achieve MLK's dream? It would start with eliminating all questions about skin color on every government form and eliminating all laws that have provisions regarding skin color.
Obama wouldn't be President if this were the case.

Evidently, you can't judge someone by the content of their character either, well, at least if they also happen to be Black. After all, we know it's not their character of the criminal that is flawed, it is their environment.

Obama is President today precisely because he is black ("America's first black President!") If he had been judged by the "content of his character," Marxist revolutionary, who vowed to "fundamentally transform the United States of America," he would not have been elected.
Those of us who did the research into his associations, and his character, were called "racist bigots."
Everything in Obama's past was about a Marxist revolution, and many, if not most, of his appointees ("czars") have been of the same ilk.
You have to laugh at our hypocritical government asking questions as to race and sex on the forms they task us with submitting.

What's else, it's not limited to the US. All the countries we have bombed/attacked in the last 50 years have been non-white populations.

IF Obama were "marxist," he would be about equality. I don't think there are many Americans gung-ho about equality (at least not on a financial level).

Exactly. Equality of opportunity, not "ecconomic equality," which is a redistributionist idea, and from which the idea of an "income gap" stems (which is corrected by redistribution of wealth).
It's interesting that affirmative action laws do exactly what MLK and the Republicans fought against. Blacks are more enslaved (and impoverished) today because of Democrat policies that keep them dependent (and the Democrats in power).
