It's his damned office and his damned desk.
Other presidents before him have put their feet up on it, dinged it up and used it, because it's a working desk. Rightly so. In their turn, it was their damned office and their damned desk.
When Obama's gone, those who will follow him and do just the same in the office space and the furniture within it.
And be glad. This is no Holy Temple of Democracy Worship. This space is where this country's work is done daily, and it should be used and used hard. Show some freaking respect, and quit the object worship.
The other presidents who have put their feet on that desk should be ashamed of themselves too!!!! However, he's the current president and should show some respect.
Well, that's even worse!
