So the content of the job is to simply live like that?

That sounds like someone who is not only going to micromanage and meddle on how you live your life but is also a judgemental a**hole.

I'd look elsewhere.

Default Would you work for $200 a day under these circumstances?

No way. Those aren't "conditions of employment" as much as they are "conditions of control." Whoever this judgmental control freak is, he isn't someone I'd want to work for.

Maybe he's unfamiliar with the Bible.

"Judge not, lest ye be judged." Mathew 7:1

Nope. It's one thing to live by those rules of your own accord and another to have them forced upon you by some arbitrary figurehead. Nope.

I should have stipulated that.
I thought you were a telemarketer...or maybe it was Rick Roma. I get you guys confused.

What does it matter if it is 7.25 an hour, 15 and hour or 35? Why would employer need to know what my lifestyle is?

Hey look, it's the Henry Ford model!

Quote:
The $5-a-day rate was about half pay and half bonus. The bonus came with character requirements and was enforced by the Socialization Organization. This was a committee that would visit the employees' homes to ensure that they were doing things the "American way." They were supposed to avoid social ills such as gambling and drinking. They were to learn English, and many (primarily the recent immigrants) had to attend classes to become "Americanized." Women were not eligible for the bonus unless they were single and supporting the family. Also, men were not eligible if their wives worked outside the home.

I couldn't work for a place that wanted to dictate what I did off the clock. I don't think asking about martial status is legal.
