Most anti-gunners think that only the police should have guns (or maybe also the military). Do you agree with that?
I believe what the Constitutions says. That a well armed Militia is is necessary to the security of free people. If you want to use a gun, join the military.
I drive for a living and am fed up with irresponsible drivers, they are more of a threat to all of us than guns ever were or will be. I don't see anyone crying for people to take driver safety classes every so many years or maybe outlaw cars.
Guns are just a tool decent people can use to defend themselves from armed criminals. Stop wasting energy on the tools and do something about the criminals.
The shooter at sandy hook was prohibited from owning a gun, he stole his mothers poorly secured weapons to commit this heinous crime. If his mother had lived, I am certain she would have been charged with some sort of accessory to this crime. She knew he was a head case, but had guns in the house, poorly secured at that.
Yes, she was just another another gunnuts, killed with her own gun. Which is exactly why these types of weapons should be banned. If they were banned, those Sandy Hook children would be alive to day, just like their Chinese counterparts, who were attacked that same day, but who all survived, because their government doesn't let people own dangerous weapons like that.
