It wouldn't make you feel any better and because of their nature, they would likely lie to your face that they were warning of exactly of the opposite the entire time. You have had to met some of these types of people in your life? You know, the one who is caught red handed and lies straight to your face as if somehow you were supposed to be that stupid to not realize?
If anything, pity them. They are a sad group and often have severe self esteem issues. I once knew a guy like this who I despised because he acted in such a manner, but then I saw him in his personal life and I really felt sad for him.

KEY WORD is "present" halting of global warming. Lastly, where are you making the jump to "we may be going into cooling cycle". In the full text he goes onto to say an increase of ~0.5C will likely occur.

Oh yeah I revisited one this past weekend after 7 years. A liar who just won't quit. Twice on the same day i had to tell him what and why... he was gone very early come Sunday morning.... maybe he will stay that way. I sure hope so because if not he will have a bad hair day coming next time.

I live less than 1 hours drive to the Atlantic and i go sailing. As a wee lad i dug steamed clams from Ipswich / Essex perhaps the worlds best clams!
There is no increase in sea level period. The same roads are still there inches above high tide.

He does not. This is the guy who said no one had ever compared volcanic and industrial greenhouse gas emissions, but that he knew the answer. I informed him he was wrong, showing him the USGS articles on the matter. It was dismissed as junk science and Mr. 310 there continued to pretend he was right. This 310 person does not base his opinion on this matter on facts.
