The reason the U.S. still has chemical weapons is that it takes a LONG time to destroy the huge stockpiles that we have. They have been operating a chemical weapons disposal facility in Anniston, Alabama for years.

There are too many terrorists coming over the border and with them they could bring WMD.. even if Assad turns over ALL WMD, that does not mean that there will be no WMD used by the rebels .
