Not true. Not true at all.

First of all, these two losers will never pass another idiotic law in Colorado again.

Second, it sends a message to all the other politicians who may consider passing idiotic laws in the future.

To say that the recall of TWO elected officials "does nothing to state laws" is naive, to say the least. This will have a major impact on future events (read: laws).

When your side wins it's the "voice of the people"
When your side loses it's "voter suppression"

Look, the gun control nuts lost. Live with it rather than find some excuse thinking you would have won if it wasn't for that excuse.

but "protection" in a country where your chance of homicide is about 1/2 of that of your chance of turning that gun on yourself (Suicide).

owning a gun for protection only makes sense for people bad at math.

It sends a chilling message to every other lawmaker that to deliberately ignore the wishes of the people who elected them can have repercussions. They will think twice about how they vote. It will impact what state laws get passed in the future.

Bill Clinton warned his party, don't take away gun rights or you will lose your base. We saw it in the mid terms after they pushed the original "Assault Weapons Ban" and we still see it to this day.
