According to BOP fairly recent numbers. About 50% in prison are drug related. However about 60% are white. That would include what they call Hispanics also iirc. Blacks were at 37%. Why Are More Blacks Wrongfully Convicted?
I don't think this issue should really be about race. There is always going to be something that someone decides to focus on as an excuse to be divisive. The list is endless.
