This case has torn the community apart - They all want to remove the School Board president and most want the supportive teachers removed, but the Union has made it clear they will bankrupt the School District if they try to remove them in any way. The victim in this case has some problems - he has massive anger issues, won't talk to his family and won't come back to the town - even to see his family. He is just too embarrassed.

Such a sad situation, but there are lessons to be learned here - the President of the School Board is a former Teacher/Union member ..... it would be part of his job to "negotiate" with Unions over contracts. It's absolutely idiotic for a Town/City to elect a member of the Union to negotiate against the Union ..... bad for the Taxpayers and in this particular case - we see this President AND his wife (a school teacher) siding with a Pedophile against students. The Union ALWAYS trumps the kids ...... the Teaching profession has become a Jobs Program and cash cow for Unions. I know there are exceptions to that, my daughter is a Teacher and she is always for the kids - but it's pretty clear that the majority will stick with the Union position.

How do we know that? They are silent when cases like this occur. They are probably sick to their stomachs, but they are still silent ..... and they don't attempt to do anything to change this "Jobs Program" that used to be a Career for Educating our Children.

Was this convicted molester part of the "in crowd" in this small town ?

We lived near Gacy and neighbors were calling about the terrible odors from that house.....nothing
was done because he was a pillar of the community (good old boy) in the city of Norridge which
borders along Chicago.
Also worked with a teacher who fled with a student, was having an affair with her for 2 years, all
the students knew it and the administration but they only gave him a warning. A few days later
he and the girl took off, the FBI caught him and the school fired him 3 days after that.
(I had no clue but there were many who did but kept quiet).
