First is only asking because he doesnt want to be led into temptation. I suggest two places - the North Pole and the South Pole! Aside from polar bears ( male and female) there wont be any gays for him to act out his repressed desires and it will even be too cold for fantasies.

Not being gay myself Id prefer to live in a place where all the other men are gay. Umm Im talking about your average city where 51% of the population is female - Im NOT talking about the Texas State Pen in Huntsville! I had to make that clear! LOL

How about the middle of North Dakota or eastern Montana? So few people is bound to mean they have a low gay population...but..careful of the cattle...we're not sure if they or the sheep are straight or not..they refuse to tell us..

Try Scranton, PA! I'm probably the only gay resident out of a metro with 600,000+ people! You'll love it here!

I find these demographics to be somewhat surprising, to say the least! Not only are the "suspect" Philadelphia and Pittsburgh areas more "gay-populated", but also far-flung Forest County is as well? I knew the Poconos are crawling with gays (including my ex and his new bfs since me), but the relatively-high numbers in the outlying counties surrounding Scranton are also surprising---There are apparently MORE gay couples living in rural Susquehanna and Wyoming Counties than very urban Lackawanna County? That can't possibly be accurate, could it?

Any rural area or smaller city, particularly in the Bible Belt is a good bet. I suppose that goes without saying though.

I'm glad this thread has kept a civil tone. After all, there are web sites devoted to gay real estate (Purple Roofs), advising those who are interested where the gay-friendly cities are in the U.S. Why can't someone inquire politely about just the opposite? It's a lifestyle as well as a sexual orientation, so there are going to be those people who do not care to live in such communities. Just as I have seen other posters very stridently request names of cities that aren't full of very conservative types, or that are overly centered around religion, etc.

It's been my experience that places with high gay populations have more culture, art, shopping etc. So look for somewhere boring.
