well then let someone sue the state of arizona over the issue, someone that has standing, and let it go through the system, because until it does, in arizona same sex marriage is banned. so say the PEOPLE of arizona.
Many such cases are going though the system. It takes time. Plus the Supreme Court doesn't seem to want to address the issue - just look at the last session when they were in a position to settle it once and for all. They chose to kick the can instead.
Bob and weave, duck and dodge. Do everything but answer the question.
I thought I did. I disagree that adoption is an inalienable right all people have, so therefore I don't think this Guido Barilla was against your equal rights. He said he's okay with same-sex marriage, but he doesn't think gay people should adopt. However, if someone was against my equal rights, I may consider boycotting them. But quite honestly, I probably already get products from people who are against my equal rights. I get gas, some of which probably came from Saudi Arabia. Not only do I get my gas from them, but I get it at gas stations owned by Muslims (who I know have their wives in burkas because I've seen them in the store). I bet you do to, and I bet they don't even have as liberal a view on same-sex marriage as Mr. Barilla does.

did they delay the cases or just not accept them? if they delayed them then the cases are still on the docket, of they refused to take the cases, then the highest lower court ruling stands and scotus has spoken.
I like how you call reaction to this insanity but what about Barilla's statement of never doing a commercial with a homosexual family? Replace "homosexual" with "Christian" or "conservative". How would you feel then?
I wouldn't care one way or the other and neither would you. The "mob" just gets all wound out about stupid sheet like this. That is why they are a mob. They will never be happy because they are told not to be. Boycott Target, Chicken shack, barilla......it all means NOTHING. It's a joke. You go on screaming though and I will continue to laugh.

Who is the "they" you are referring to? There are probably dozens of cases challenging state gay marriage bans on federal constitutional grounds working their way though district and appellate courts. It takes time for them to move up.
As to kicking the can, I was referring to the California Prop 8 case.

Similar to all of the boycotts by the homosexual-hating Family Research Council.
I don't encounter too many out here in the 'burbs, but I used to have some gay friends in college, and kinder people you will never meet. It's the activists that are getting insufferable (and that person who basically said don't let the door hit you on the a** on the way out because I commented on the topic).
