You just proved that speeches are more destructive than violence.

Ban political and financial speeches.

Hitler was an ordinary soldier who went on to lead the German army from his speeches. If billlionaires, company owners and government cannot give food, clothing and shelter to people then Hitler can rise again.

Does your mom know that you're up so late?

It would not matter if Bill Gates was "worth" 50 TRILLION dollars. It does not in the slightest hamper ANYONE ELSE'S OPPORTUNITIES. You will not improve anyone's future by harming someone else.

^^ This.

If the amount of money that Bill Gates has makes you feel inferior or jealous in some way, it's your problem, not Bill's. You want some of his money? Invent a product which he feels is worth paying for. That's what he did.

I had thrown a 20 kg stone 25 feet away and the ground shook at 2 am
midnight. My dog had no idea why the ground shook.
Shouldn't that be 7.62 metres?

No - the stone should be 44 pounds.

Nice one

As entertaining as this thread has been, does anyone else think we should report the OP for advertising his website on the forums? It is, afaik, against the TOS.

It does matter a great deal. Without some kind of government regulations, controls and law, sooner or later one or two persons would own everything worth owning. That's just a fact as can readily be seen in any pure capitalistic state. It has been precisely these kinds of situations that have so often ended with the owner class with their heads on the chopping blocks. Ultimately it's not good for them either. Although the Right wing would have you believe that the concept of, "distribution of the wealth" is some kind of dirty word it is in reality probably THE most important function of the government in a democracy. It's a very difficult job to balance out all of the stakeholders in the society and arriving at a state that is the fairest to all. On the one hand you don't want to reward the lowest at too great of cost to the highest and on the other hand you don't want to reward the highest at the cost of producing a huge peon class.
