The story was about one particular case — a sad one, to be sure – but one that involved individuals, each with a name and story. When Jonathan Ferrell was killed in Charlotte, N.C., nearly two weeks ago, it shattered his family –which is now planning his Saturday funeral in Tallahassee, Fla.– and forever affected the life of the police officer accused of voluntary manslaughter in his death, no matter the verdict in his trial.

I'm simply at a loss as to why anyone would fear a Black man.
i take people on a case by case basis. i generally know who i can trust and who i cant. skin color doesnt matter, religion doesnt matter, CHARACTER is what matters. the other thing that matters is the situation. if things feel hinky, i dont trust anyone right away.
Sometimes. Is the black man coming at you with a chainsaw? That's rational. It is just a black guy minding his own business while wearing a hoodie. I have to say no here.
Generalizations are bad. Assuming all black men are criminals is as stupid as assuming all white men are here to take your land and force you into Christianity. A person is not defined by their race.
I fear anyone that looks like a troublemaker to me. A white guy came into the gas station I was having a snack at past midnight, he was tattooed, had a shaven head, and wearing a hoody and didn't look very happy. Needless to say I got out of there
The intersting thing that I'm starting to notice is that this country is so prone to violence that it scares the hell out itself. It reminds me of a bully that picks on smaller kids (countries) and whenever they fight back they cry "terrorist!" and attack with all of their fury. There are segments in this country that feared blackmen based strictly on what is protrayed in the media, so naturally when they are face to face with one they aoutmatically think the worst. Hell, I have even heard whites who actually afraid of Punk P. Diddy and Cryea West
great op
when the sheep huddle the wolves think its discrimination
why should a police officer be afraid of a professional football player charging
doesn't he realize that as a duly appointed peace officer he has super powers and cannot be harmed?
and besides his attacker loves Winnie the poo
what further evidence do we need to convict this so called police officer
My nephew is a black man. His skin color has not made me fear him - nor has anything else.
