Cuba is often regarded as a communist country that has a poor standard of living. While Haiti has capitalism, Cuba is much better off. So which capital city would you rather live in?

Haiti does not have capitalism, it has a crony capitalism.

Havana. It's lovely, with friendly people. Safe. Canadians love going to Cuba.

Pretty big stretch, but I agree with what you're saying.

Show me a successful conservative capitalist nation (other than the US if you consider it successful). Practically every rich nation on earth uses some form of socialism yet people in this country run away in fright just hearing the word.

We're already subsidizing the lazy, can we do it in a way that also benefits everyone else and not just the people with research foundations and superpacs?

Stalin killed more Jews than Hitler did --- so even though Nazis or Communists have loads of money, I'd rather live where neither exist.

So? He was every bit as evil. It's hard to understand those who would support either ideology.

That's not fair. Haiti has been systematically screwed by more powerful nations since it's inception.

Haiti is not capitalist. Try opening up a business in Haiti, I will just say good luck. Doing Business in Haiti - World Bank Group

Part of capitalism is to have fair and efficient judicial system and Haiti certainly do not have that.
