The discussion in the OP was the company just could not afford any increase in wages, I understand costs will increase. If McDonalds and Burger King are working off the same wage standard what's the harm in a slight increase.
What's the point if that increase can only buy the same amount of product?

Individual franchises have to send a certain amount to the mother ship (corp) no matter what.
They take the loss individually because the mother ship always gets paid.
What every you do, don't claim to be white. I wonder, which one gets you the most benefit.
I think you are just a little off topic don't you think, I am sure you would give anything to be black or Hispanic the benefits are just endless with no downside.
