Well they are not so your opinion is irrelevant to what will happen. People who depend on the parks for their livlihood are going to suffer. Also, all those thousands upon thousands of tourists who come from around the world are in for a real treat at seeing our "exceptionalism" close up.

How much does it cost when gov't is up and running?

Who needs a high Dow, anyway? And I was getting so tired of having our AAA credit rating back.

The cost of the shut down > than any money saved during the shut down.
