Poll: Obamacare remains highly unpopular as implementation looms

By Mark Murray, Senior Political Editor, NBC News

A large number of Americans continue to adamantly oppose the nation’s new health-care law and believe it will produce damaging results, according to a new NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll.

Forty-four percent of respondents call the health-care law a bad idea, while 31 percent believe it's a good idea -- virtually unchanged from July's NBC/WSJ survey.

By a 45 percent to 23 percent margin, Americans say it will have a negative impact on the country's health-care system rather than a positive one.
Obamacare is highly unpopular with RWNJs, and there are plenty of them out there. A poll worded by conservative corporate media and Rupert Murdoch - what could possibly be wrong or inaccurate?
As we know there are millions of suckers out there who get their news from Fox, "America's Newsroom", so is it any surprise that such chumps are soiling their drawers over this? Funny they don't show the wording of the "poll", and as we know, conservatives love to poll themselves. Jeez, Romney actually won in a landslide? Who knew...

Unpopular with success because we know we have to pay for the people who are failures.

The 2010 mid terms were a big vote against Obamacare.

So how do you explain 2012? Dems gained seats in the Senate AND the House, AND kept the Presidency. Maybe next time your party will think twice about nominating a plutocrat who, as governor, did the same thing the President did, and then tried to explain how he would undo it, that it was right for his state but not the US, blah blah blah.

You are paying for the "failures" now - only much more than necessary. The real "failures" are the insurance gangsters who will be out of business when we get to a single-payer system - and good riddance. You can then continue to pay them if you like - they will need you.
Get yourself ready, it's coming.

Congressional Repubs, who got a million fewer votes, held onto the House only thanks to their gerrymandering. What a sorry bunch it is that can't win an election on their own ideas and without dirty tricks.

Yes, people with pre-existing conditions are "failures".

Btw, the biggest groups who benefit from ACA lean Republican. It's comical how right-wingers think they pay for everything.

It's the classic example of hating the name but liking what it does. In similar polls, when asked should pre-existing conditions be covered; should children stay on family plans until 26, etc., most say yes.
