What the dingbats out there don't seem to realize is that the Republicans had several chances to stop Obamacare. They tried to keep it from being passed by Congress - and they failed. They tried to challenge it in the Supreme Court - and they failed. They tried to elect a President who would try to rescind the law - and they failed.

When will the Tea Party and Republicans realize that they are the party of failure?

The Affordable Care Act is the law of the land. Suck it the hell up and stop trying to destroy this country!

Our system is set up with 3 branches of government, at one time they had checks and balances all along the way.

Yes it was and it brought balance and along with it compromise between the Parties, it worked. Then one side descided they would fight Everything the other guys wanted to do and ended compromise, heck they consider it to be a dirty word. Once the current system was in place the government stopped functioning and we are where we are today. We got the government we voted in over the last several elections and I believe there will be more big changes in the next election, and I do not think the GOP is going to like the results. The American Voters are sick and tired of the Political Games by both sides but one side is going to pay far more because it is always due to their actions that puts us in this position.

You guys are sleeping at the wheel and have for a long time,, You -who have been there for years are at fault for all this spending,,, the prez has only been here what- 6 yrs? and then you blame the little people... like MANY employees are openly saying- you are acting like little kids ! Obamacare is LAW- the prez is the prez and it is time to move on!!!

The Continuing Resolution should not be a tool for extorting what a political party cannot legislate. It's a moral issue.

You mean like those rigged polls that said Obama would win last November? Yeah, they were pretty badly rigged, weren't they.

The truth is, the house and senate republicans had sis months to compromise using the usual conference comittees, and they refused. Boehner has always had the chance to compromise with Obama, but starting in January, he refused. Now, the House has sent up a bunch of outlandish Continuing resolutions, which themselves are only needed because they've refused to do this jobs in the first place. So it's pretty absurd to claim that Obama or Reid are the ones who refuse to negotiate.

The law was already passed and is passed the "compromise" faze. As other posters have already stated, Republicans lost the fight to stop the Affordable Care Act, they lost the challenge in the Supreme Court in which they claimed it was unconstitutional, and then they lost the election. It in a law now, so there's nothing to compromised about...
