"The average individual's cell phone bill is up by 31% since 2009, to $71 a month, reports J.D. Power & Associates. And for a family of four who all have smartphones, the tab can easily top $200. " Family cell phone bill - Apr. 16, 2012
Wow. I figured I would catch more crap here than from a couple people who never paid a health insurance premium in their lives. I am still waiting to hear where I can find this super cheap insurance. Oh, BTW cc, I have checked the state exchange rates and they are even more than the $1151 per month that our rates jumped up to, only the deductible is a lot higher. So, tell me again where I am supposed to find these cheap rates. The president said the rates would be about what cell phone service is. Should I check with Verizon or AT&T or T-Mobile?

Maybe Obama thinks that everyone pays 1800/mo for cellular.
Someone I know will be put on expanded Medicaid and about what a cell phone bill would. He doesn't have much income. I'm assuming you make quite a bit more than poverty level, which is why you won't find you health insurance as cheap as a cell phone bill. Sorry about that, but the good news is you can stop asking now.
Who here do you suppose has never paid for health insurance in their life?
Well I know people who think $300 a month for their family's cell phone service is a good deal.
I pay $8.50 a month for my cell phone service so as far as I'm concerned, Obama is a liar.
$8.50 per month? Is that prepaid? Mine cost $157.00 as long as I don't go over my data usage. But going back to the question, I've tried looking at the Maryland ACA exchange but I've come up dry with the actual cost of the premiums, I tried a random a state (ended up being MA) and the rates ran about $186 for some plan that I don't understand (it said YAP Low W/ RX) to $228 for Bronze, $330 for Silver, and $407 for gold; I was barely over the minimum income for my household (1) therefore I don't believe I qualify for subsidies.

One thing about it now everyone will pay. The coming issue will be how much.
