Amazing how you guys can't spot a B.S. story when you see one.

If you're a GS or contract worker on furlough, i don't give a damn what position you work in, you CANNOT go to work until you're given permission to do so. That's the law. Why should priests be treated any different? If they want to administer mass or some other kind of services, they have to do it in an unofficial setting.

And no one is going to jail, so stop with the stupid hyperbole.

Moreover, why in the hell is the government hiring contract priests to begin with? They can't get enough priests to go on active duty?

You vote to repeal the law, not once, not twice, but 40 times!!! Finally, you try to elect a Republican President, but that too fails. At what point do you acknowledge that you've lost?

Republicans keep saying Obama should compromise. Well here's a news flash. He already has! Obamacare IS the compromise. In order to get the votes needed for its passage, in order to get it even out of committee, Democrats had to make HUGE concessions. No single payer, no public insurance option, no lowering of the eligibility age for Medicare, no being able to buy cheaper prescription drugs from Canada. And yet despite making all these concessions, Republicans still claim Obama is unwilling to compromise. I thnk conservatives don't even know what the meaning of the word compromise is. Then again, they don't know the meaning of a lot of things, like socialism, freedom of religion, etc.

Republicans are like sports fans who complain about the refs when their team loses. If the media asks them a "gotcha" question or doesn't devote enough time to long-debunked conspiracy theories, conservatives accuse the media of having a liberal bias. When a judge rules a way they don't like, they accuse him of being an activist judge.

I'm convinced that conservatives are basically children trapped in the bodies of adults. They throw temper tantrums when they don't get their way, they cling to 2000 year old fairy tales to give them comfort, and they cry when someone threatens to take away their toys i.e. guns. As any parent knows, you don't give in to children. But one thing's clear. If you have the mentality of a child, then you have no business being in government or holding any leadership position.

Lastly, I'm sure conservatives will respond to this thread by claiming it's progressives who are the sore losers acting like children. But that just proves my point. Your best response is tantamount to "I know you are but what am I." Sad.
Conservatives are sore losers but you write a multi-paragraph post that does nothing but whine against people who feel differently than you? Got it. Your entire post has the maturity level of "I know you are but what am I".

Anyone who proudly self-identifies as either a republican or democrats today wasn't blessed with an over abundance of brains.

She proves the OP correct. She is a prime example but not the only one.

Point of clarification. Not one single republican voted for the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. NOT ONE.

How could the OP forget that this is one of the very reasons the GOP took the House in 2010 and remains a formidable opponent of the President as a result of that dastardly, bribe-riddled law to this very day?
I think OP was commenting on the rights' general meaness and perpetual anger...Like your embolded tag line...as example of the rights' 'soreloserness'.

Default Obama: Once again, my way or the highway

Obama is waggging his fingers at America again. He is NOT speaking for me but that's not a problem I don't count

This has been discussed by political observers ever since the Clinton administration -- the first time they overreached themselves in a mouth-frothing, desperate attempt to punish an uppity Democrat. Remember the first government shutdown followed by the midterm GOP slaughter and Clinton re-election?

Wonder how it will turn out for them this time?
This, exactly.

It is stunning how uncivil they become when they lose an election, as if our political system isn't based on a two-party system where each party does get to "win" once in a while.
I really believe that they thought that the country would become a GOP oligarchy after Reagan, that somehow he had "fixed" things so that the Democrats would never hold the WH again.

The constant attacks and intractability evidenced during both the Clinton and Obama administrations contrasted with the "yes, sir, whatever you want sir" compliance during the last Bush administration tells pretty much the entire story.
They have no moral ground other than "my way or the highway."

Wrong. The ACA (ObamaCare) was passed without ONE Republican vote.

It stands only because John Roberts said that the penalty (as the Democrats claimed it was) could be constitutional if it was a tax, and BAM, it became a tax, post facto.

Its constitutionallity is still being challenged on other grounds. The 'Fat Lady' has not yet sung.

Judge Roberts added that it was not the Courts job to determine if it was good law.

Nice try. And, by the way, the only way they could get it passed was to introduce it in the Senate as an 'amendment' to a House originated spending bill, by completely replacing the text of that bill with the text of the ACA. That isn't an amendment by anyone's definition.

This is laugable.

I'll bet your friends with LexusNexus. Your diatribe makes about as much sense.

Good luck with that nonsense.
How many polls do we have now showing that the public is putting the most blame on the GOP?
Five?
Six?
