Subject to regulation by the state, is the part you're forgetting.

Quite possibly, it depends on what standards of privacy a society wants to have.

The government has no compelling interests, unless you believe the gov has the authority to ban all forms of media that can show someone in a negative light.

The point remains, a legally acquired photograph is the property of its owner, and the owner determines distribution as they see fit.

Are nude pictures illegal all of the sudden?

If they are legal then they can be distributed.

One has to wonder how far someone like yourself would take this. Wow.

Sees fit as subject to the law.

Anyway, the government does have an interest, considering how deleterious the effect of these published photos have had on the lives of the victims.

No more so than adultery. Should we get the red letters back out?

Yes, it's just so extreme for me to think that a photo a woman thought was private and personal should not be published publicly. God, what an extremist I am for not wanting women to be harassed and stalked.

Good luck, but you're in the extreme minority on this subject, and the legal precedent is contrary to your opinion.

Despite you not having posted any. One state has gone this far and the articles note that other states that have considered it have decided against it.

This will lose in the courts also. If you want to keep it private and personal do not give it away.
