It would be great for the well being of this society if this happened. Republicans have shown themselves to be a disgrace in Congress, breaking the House because of its tea party contingent. Absolutely shameful.

Gee, a poll paid for by MoveOn.org shows the Republicans in trouble. Isn't that amazing?

I think I'll take Gallup a little more seriously. They show Americans blame all political leaders, including Obama -

"Leaders looking to gain ground in public opinion are not succeeding. A majority of Americans report feeling more negatively about the Republican and Democratic congressional leadership since the shutdown began, as well as about President Barack Obama."

Here - Americans See Current Shutdown as More Serious Than in '95

And try a real poll next time.

If it weren't for gerrymandering, they wouldn't have it now.

They'll blame it on "handouts" to "the moochers".

LOL, Liberals trying to fear monger republicans. "See, this is what happens to republicans who don't obey Obama. Republicans, this will happen to you too".

How freaking more obvious can they be.

OP... FAIL!

Like the saying goes, "you get what you pay for". That's exactly what they got, a poll that supports their opinion.

When people see that jobs and workers' hours lost due to the (Un)ACA is exactly what Democrats have in mind for America, it's a red flag for conservative voters. That said, liberals stand to lose more in 2014, maybe more so than in 2010. I see conservatives keeping the House and winning the Senate this next year. So much for the leftists' pipe dream of a "fundamentally transformed" America.

I would like to point out that this is not a partisan theory, but an undeniable fact. House Democrats received 1.7 million more votes than House Republicans received in 2012, but because of the way the districts are drawn, Republicans control the chamber.

That said, I can't see Democrats taking back the House in 2014. I think it will be like 1998 where Democrats gain a few seats, but not enough to take it back.
