LOL, one post from facebook "Marilyn I would love to see this truck dump a load of horse **** on the steps of the Capitol building and on the White House front lawn."
Just another right wing temper tantrum. When the entire membership of a political philosophy is reduced to acting like a bunch of toddlers, the clock on their relevancy is ticking.
What happens if someone gets hurt or killed by these douchnozzles while they attempt to blockade an entire freeway? What exactly do they plan to do to the drivers that try to pass their rolling teabagger rally?
They plan on leaving one of the lanes open for emergency vehicles.
Enraged by low wages, fuel prices, regulations, the government shutdown, the debt ceiling, President Obama and “the corruption that is destroying America,” the “Truckers Ride for the Constitution” aims to tie up three lanes of Interstate 495 circling the nation’s capital, with big rigs traveling 55 mph, an organizer told U.S. News & World Report.
Twitter has suspended the account belonging to ‘Truckers for the Constitution’, a group that has received national media attention over its plan to roadblock traffic in DC and arrest members of Congress later this week.
Twitter reacted to the news by almost immediately terminating the group’s account.
That's a joke or something ...... right?
It's the Dictators, Totalitarians and countries like Syria, Iran, Venezuela, China and Russia that shut down media to their enemies. The USA doesn't do this sort of thing ..... right?
Well, let the innocent things go for it. The traffic is so bad in DC nobody will notice the difference anyway. Except for them because of having to pull up 10 feet, stop, 10 more feet, stop, etc, etc for half an hour or so. And thats before they get on the access roads to the beltway. Then the traffic does get bad. Especially on a Friday.
Yeah, since the traffic is probably lower due to the government shutdown, seems like the addition of a bunch of large trucks would make the traffic seem just like a typical Tuesday at rush hour.
The protest has been organized by individuals with various connections to the military, either as children of veterans, spouses of veterans or those who have served themselves, who are outraged and deeply disappointed that individuals who have served in the military have been blocked from the memorials honoring their service across the country. They are most concerned about blocking access to monuments in the nation’s capital, Washington D.C.
So who exactly ordered the shutdowns of the memorial anyway?
