So blowing through$12.5 million an hour, which is what this shutdown is costing the American taxpayers, is not madness?

McCain. No one but the left cares what you have to say anymore. Get lost. Retire. Take your bi-partisanship traitor butt to the retirement home. This man has no principles and doesnt really stand for anything.

Yeah he sure has jumped off the TP wagon, I guess he saw that it was about to go over the cliff. I bet he catches all kinds of grief from the TP over his stance. Some have already posted how senile he is, lol. When is the rest of the Republican party going to collectively reject the TP madness?

In bold is Exhibit A for why we are where we are right now. "Bipartisan" is now a dirty word to the right, along with "compromise."

It is insane. Just as playing world cop is insane. Just as passing a bill to find out what is inside is insane. Just as refusing to negotiate is insane. Just as accusing 1 side of playing my way and only my way when both sides are doing it is insane.
Reid is nuts and so is the GOP. Obama is the chief looney.

So, wanting and trying to work in a bipartisan way is now being a "traitor?" Wow!

this is exactly why Obama and the legislative Democrats should team with the moderate Republicans to to end this stranglehold of the TP. I would rather the Democrats negotiate with moderate Rebublicans and work with them on shared values and ideals. I would rather Democrats conceed items to the Mod GOP than give anything to the TP.

TP works for no one but self.

McCain: Deal could be reached if lawmakers stopped

It's time for other Republicans to admit the same thing. The ACA is here to stay so it's time for Republicans to pass a clean CR and govern for a change.

Well McCain is a liar as Obama.

I never heard anyone claim that.
