Yes, and one that saves government NOTHING. So it may be the least painful but it's also the most vindictive.

It saved money until the GOP converted the furloughs into paid vacation.

If you think that closing parks is the most vindictive thing you can imagine, then your mind if void of imagination.

Closing parks is the least visible, and least painful thing you can do in this situation.

It's vindictive because it saves no money. It just irritates the citizens just like Obama wants. He wants people to feel pain. He doesn't care about saving money.

Well they guv could always stop foreign aid, but they'd rather inconvenience the very people whose money they steal every pay day to fund their follies.

I posted yesterday asking the op if FOX had also run this story and the post was deleted for being off topic, so I'll ask again.

So I don't get in trouble for being off topic I'll add how strange it is that right wingers are upset about the closing of national parks, something they typically despise. It's just an excuse to complain more. That's it.

Email tells feds to make sequester as painful as promised

In the internal email, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service official Charles Brown said he asked if he could try to spread out the sequester cuts in his region to minimize the impact, and he said he was told not to do anything that would lessen the dire impacts Congress had been warned of.

I've never met a "right winger" who despises parks. Who are you talking about?
