I get that, but why are they whining about people actually getting what they paid for?

Are they really that ignorant?

As long as the Fed is printing money to cover for Obama's incompetence, no effective protest will occur.

The only solace I can take in that is that millenials will be screwed EVEN MORE than current retirees are. Some would even say deservedly so.

The worst part is that they are blaming the Democrats for it.

Tea Baggers cannot even tolerate closing national parks. Just imagine if they got their way and completely shut down the government, they would be furious.

Oh, they're loving the closing of the national parks and monuments. It allows them to get all outraged at the fallout from the shutdown they caused. The Tea Party simpletons are too obtuse to put those two together--that the shutdown they caused leads to stuff being shutdown. This is the brain trust America has put in charge of the purse strings. That should scare the hell out of everybody.

It's going to be a hard lesson for a lot of them... I see it every day. My very liberal left leaning son (Gen Y) is starting to learn the lesson's now that he's married, working, and finding out that mom and dad weren't quite as stupid as he thought we were. And sometimes, no matter how hard I try not to, I still have to say, "I told you so."

It didn't take me long to see the best option was to engage the ignore button. Talk about a 1-mantra fool! lol. No matter how many times you tell them the money belongs to you and you pay a monthly premium for Medicare, it doesn't soak in. Never has, never will.

I happily ignore foolish people.

If memory serves, it's Republicans who are eager to cut back on the Social Security benefits that they like to refer to as "entitlements."
