Happy Columbus Day everybody! Let us all give thanks for Columbus' discovery of the new world, so that others could follow and bring civilization to a newly discovered continent. And for everybody who hates Columbus Day, I challenge you to go for a day without anything invented by Europeans -- see how that works out for ya...

Nobody really knows who got here first before Columbus. There is some evidence that it was the Clovis people. You know, the white man. Who cares anyway? First means nothing.

It's a celebration of exploration by the men who sailed out on a voyage into the unknown.

I wish we had the written history of the first native American explorers, as they pushed their way into the unknown, but sadly we don't.
