The Dems have tried to avoid strings for years. Those strings are also known as "budgets" in the real world. Some compromise is needed to get this spending until control. Part of the Collins bill kept the government spending at current levels, ie., sequester levels, but gave agencies flexibility to make decisions. Obama was just crowing about deficits coming down. This would continue that pattern, but allow the departments to do it in the most efficient ways.
I repeat: what part of you do not get rewarded with concessions for shutting down the government and taking us to the brink of default do you not get?

Yeah, because the Republicans don't want to make what was agreed on, happen. That's why we hate Obama and the Dems. Because Republicans don't want to do what they agreed to do.

It's like if Obama agreed to sign a law and then said, Nope, nevermind. I think I'll just not. . We'd love Obama a lot for that.

Wait. That is backwards. Disregard. What you said and I said made zero sense.

Really people still think that the whole interest of politics on display here is not bought out by corporate and bank business. You are not going to see anything reasonable, or something that would benefit the country because it will not benefit the conglomeration that controls it. Give me a beeping break. Want some cheese with your whine?

Default You're quoting fox news?

The Democrats hold the superior position as usual. Idiotic Republicans in the House had this pathetic plan to try to force their undesirable views since they couldn't get Romney elected. Dems rejected that crap, so it's the Dems' fault?

Get a clue. President Obama and the Dems are standing their ground and they are right. It's quite simple.

Pubs must yield to the superior view of the President.

That wouldn't be "bi-partisan" now would it?

Guess everyone can see who the hardcore ideologues are. In this thread, they are all on the left.

BTW- Dems owned the Senate and House when Obamacare was passed. They could have passed whatever they wanted, as they did, without a single Republican vote. Stand up tall and proud, this cluster belongs 100% to you guys. If you thought it would be a success. You would be screaming in every thread that it passed without Repub votes. The fact that Dems are trying to shove it off in every thread proves that you already know it will be a failure.

Yes, yes it does.

And you keep blaming one side while bragging how your side wont compromise. I am an Independent and hate both parties equally. Both are to blame for the mess this country is in. How can you defend a 0 compromise stance and yet condemn the otherside for not being reasonable. Reasonable people find compromise.
You still ignore the fact that the majority of Americans didn't want the ACA and still dont want the ACA. The Dems forced this upon us.
