Your thread topic of choice, always seem to be rather controversial, willow. And pardon me for reporting the post, this should be listed under parenting. Unless you can validate what it has to do with "relationships" ?

In answer to your question, maybe people should more focus on "not" conceiving the children that they didn't want to begin with. There is not an overpopulation of well rounded and successful children in the world at the moment, the overpopulation is from unwanted pregnancies and no access to birth control in the more poverty or iggnorant stricken areas of the world.

What if your parents decided the world was too populated, and why bother to have you? Rather than stop people from having children, here's a better idea.. how about we just start killing off the more annoying ones (or the ones that aren't contributing in a positive way to society) that are walking around today.

Actually most first world countries' populations are starting to level off or slope to a negative.

I suggest reading Swift's "A Modest Proposal." Good, well-thought-out, honest solutions. That is why it is read in so many literature classes to this day.

I think if you can financially and emotionally support your children without government aid, you should be able to have as many as you want.

I think the living planet will take care of the overburdened population. We are also leading ourselves into extinction, so is just a matter of time.

Do you really think so? That certainly has crossed my mind, but some people tell me I'm just being ridiculous and too cynical.
