Prove that it wasn't and show just how much money was saved by closing it.
By your own statement you cannot prove that spite was not a factor and erecting barricades where they have never been is a cost.
You lose, again.
first, shouldn't the people who have made the assertions that Obama did this out of spite and that it cost more money to close these parks/monuments back up what they've said? I have yet to see any source on either of these claims.
What exactly did you expect when the government shut down? Everything would go along the same?
Did you expect the funding for all of this to come from the magical fairly land?
Funding for what exactly? How do you close outside open air memorials?!?! It actually cost money to put barricades up instead of leaving it OPEN AIR where people can freely walk.
This was simply more evidence that this Admin tried to make this more painful than it ever needed to be. Why do you and the rest of the liberal loons refuse to admit to that?!?!?!?
I can't give you an example because it hasn't happened yet. But I'm quite sure AZ would exploit the canyon for it's resources quite happily. My assumption comes from listening to AZ politicians talk. Their general disdain for conservation. Not all of them, but enough to give me pause, you know?
And the president is exploiting it for his purposes.
I fail to see where you have any principled stand on this.
