Hooray, capitalism!
Hooray for absurd rhetoric.

Sheesh.

It's funny that none of the Police have a criminal record for all of the offenses they've committed against the population.

You can't even get charges brought against an officer.

depending on the circumstances i would certainly consider someone with a criminal record for a potential job. marijuana possession, etc.
but i would have a problem with someone telling me i could NOT consider someone's criminal record.

Depends on the criminal conviction. Depends on the job.

A child molester. I would be very worried if they applied at a local school as a janitor.

Also depends on the time since the criminal activity.

Generally I would be concerned with someone who cannot follow the law and repeatedly gets arrested. It's not bad luck. It shows very poor judgement.

If they have been clean for 5-10 years. Sure I'd give them a chance. People with criminal convictions especially violent or felony type of convictions have a high hurdle to overcome.

No, but your admission to being a druggie explains much of your incoherence.

can they be bonded??

can they pass a back ground check for a security clearance ?? this includes their financial background...did they file bankrupsey in the last 3 years???

was the trangression 30 years ago...or 6 month ago???

since they will be dealing with potential hothead customers, was their transgression an agrevated assault or a road rage type incident??

was it a 30 year old possession of weed charge??

lots of questions...

fact is it had ANY TYPE of stealing or assault...then no they would not be hired

I haven't smoked pot for years. You have one false impression about what a druggie is. Especially because soon pot will be legal nation wide.

No, I know precisely what a "druggie" is. And it has nothing to do with what's "legal" or not.

A 'druggie' is someone who seeks to escape themselves by chemically altering their mind.
