1) The President refuses to enact certain provisions of the Affordable Care Act, which is openly defying a law on the books.
2) The President claims that he cannot add to the national debt (ie. pay the bills) because of a law that prevents him from doing so.
What am I missing here?
In the event we do not raise the debt ceiling he and he alone is responsible for paying debt by priority. If he chooses to send us into default it is his sole responsibility and should be impeached.
