Today, if you are a tea party supporter, its very easy to sit there and blame washington establishment for the surrender, but I have to ask you, isn't this more of a surrender from the grassroots? We have divided government, which means that anything that passes the GOP house has to be agreed upon by senate democrats. This means that inorder to get a defund or delay of obamacare, red state democrats needed to feel the heat from their tea party constituents. At no time did these senate deomcrat break ranks from harry reid. What happened? Where was the pressure that was needed from the grassroots to force red state democrats to abandon harry reid? Seriously, there are something like 6 or 7 red state democrats up for re-election and not 1 of them broke ranks? That's pretty weak if you ask me.

When you have a pro Marx media in a country of mouth breathers that will flame and destroy any hope of a "grass root" movement, you have what we have now...a Monarchy.

but according to the tea party, they didn't care about what the media says. ted cruz obviously didn't care what the media said about him. He went in there with no plan, lack of support from the senate, and was expecting the grassroots to rise up, yet when it mattered most, you got nothing.
