As a diabled veteran who relies on his VA compensation check to keep me out of the rain, I hope the country sees that as benefitting. Millions of us were being thrown to the curb.

House just finished voting, it was like 285 to 122
Not defaulting on our debt is a sad day for our country?
The senate were only six votes short of that on the first vote. There are many ways to skin a cat. It is sad to bankrupt a country instead of having the senate do what they should have done in a logical thinking way.
Two senators from North Carolina will be losing my vote next time around. I didn't vote for them the last time either. I am so glad I had such good judgment.
