How could Obamacare be anything less than terrorism? From day one, Obama was designed to pillage and plunder the productive class of American citizens until we're broke and penniless in order to transfer all of our wealth and property to the Democrat Party, Democrat Party donors, Democrat Party voters, and Mexican nationals (future Democrat Party voters). This has been the plan from day one. Once we the people are broke and penniless, and therefore no longer of any practical use, the exterminate phase begins. Death panels are as real as you and I and no one will be except once they are deemed to be useless. Osama Bin Laden could never have even dreamed such an elaborate and effective plot, let alone executed it. If you recall, Osama Bin Laden once said that Al-Qaeda's goal was not so much to destroy the country by killing people, but rather to destroy the country by chipping away at the economy. Obamacare does just that in one fell swoop. Wherever Osama Bin Laden is, one thing is for sure, he's smiling up on Barack Obama and the Democrats from hell.
Millions of lives in ruin. Hunger and famine. Death and despair everywhere. All in one stroke of a pen.
Look on the bright side though... Nasty Nancy, Babs Boxer, FrankenFeinstein, and Dingy Harry and all of their corporate and government cronies will reap the rewards for years to come. You get to slave away the rest of your life so that they can become even richer and more powerful. You get to slave away until you drop dead so that the EBT crowd can live large. What's not to like?

Calm down, take your anxiety meds. The law may need a lot of rework - hell, it may need repeal - but it's not going to cause the sky to fall.

Because, in fact, it is nothing of the sort.
We like to say we are the greatest country, but in fact we are far behind many other major countries in a lot of important metrics, like the quality of our health care, for which we rank between #31 and #37 on most studies. And we're still the only major modern nation without national health care, even after the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, to use its correct name, goes fully into effect.
A great nation deserves far better healthcare than we've been giving ourselves, and it is clear that a majority of Americans support that intention. It won Democrats the last Presidential election, and fighting it has probably cost Republicans the next election.

You are talking about the WHO study? A country that spends $1 equally on every person would rank higher than the US becsue the medical care was equally distributed. If I recall correctly, that made up 25% of the score.
The probelm in this country is not the quality of care, it's access to that care.
You put yourself there, no fault or doings by Obama and the Democrats .. Fact is every Repulican that voted or didn't vote in order to cause the Shutdown are guilty of sedation . They should be hunted down and brought to trial under US code. The penelities are 20 years and or heavy fines. They have cost each and every one Billions already ! We know who they are , lets have then arrested .

What I thought was interesting last night was how Republicans are beginning to scold Republicans on this issue more: There is a general realization that seems to be taking hold that some Republicans are simply out for themselves and/or their corrupted, extremist views, and they're no longer just harming the national generally but increasingly also causing substantive harm to other Republicans. Those Republicans who thought that the cost to the nation of these "mavericks" promoting the right-wing's self-centered values was justified are beginning to rethink that, now that they're realizing that they themselves a paying the price more significantly than others, as a result of the reckless and egoistic advocacy of these "mavericks".
