Cruz is hardly a redneck. In fact, he has close to (and exceeds) the credentials of Obama.

Cruz presses the ideologies of the voters that he was elected to represent. It's what he was elected to do.

Cruz was not responsible for any of that cost. The president and Senate were equally (if not more) responsible, because they a) refused to compromise, and b) spent more money shutting down the govt than it would have cost to keep it open.

Cruz didn't implement the ObamaCare website that is costing billions, and doesn't work at all.

Ted Cruz did that all by himself.... Did he have handcuffs?
Wow, we already live in the land of no choices.

Did you call your State and district reps?

Sen. Ted Cruz breaks political crockery

Quote:
Among this group, his popularity has risen 27 points since July – from 47 percent to 74 percent.

That was certainly true in San Antonio Saturday, where Cruz received an eight-minute standing ovation from about 750 people in an appearance organized by the Texas Federation of Republican Women.

That like-minded persons in Texas would stand and applaud him? What's the surprise?

Who wudda thunk? Cruz goes to a friendly audience and gets a standing ovation.

He declined to criticize any Republicans by name.
"I didn't get elect to go to Washington to make friends."(I think Alan Grayson from Florida, also has this attitude)

"If I had a choice to appease the people of from other States, or the choice to please the people in my State of Texas, I would choose the people of Texas, 100% of the time."

A Statesman has bum rushed Washington.
Haven't all the Leftist been saying he was "done" politically?

It's beginning to look as though I have been right all along. Hate to say, "Told you so."

Keep pushing the propaganda if it makes you happy. You're full of beans.

8 Minutes? That is it? Texans don't really support Cruz or else they would have been standing as long as he did for 21 hours on the Senate floor when he came home to San Antonio ( even though he was born in Calgary, Alberta, Canada).
Was there a "recital" of his famous speech of "Green Eggs and Ham"?
Texas keeps threating to secede! Do the rest of the US a favor already.
