Guys it's not like the $24 Billion was actually flushed down the toilet.

When they say it "cost" $24 Billion realize that they're referring to things like people not being able to SPEND money on government related services, ie: park fees, hotels and travel spending, and government not being able to SPEND your tax money performing "sevices" and paying contractors. That unspent money is still there and will still be spent.

Basically poor widdle government didn't get to waste the $24 billion that it was planning to waste(and will still waste), and it's all evil Ted Cruz's fault.

Cruz was one of the fools yelling about closing of national parks well dumb dumb your the reason why the government was shut down it is all on you and the shut closed down all national park Cruz can only blame himself for that
