Now that the pendulumn has swung so far to the left, does anyone believe that in the course of the next several elections we will ever regain our freedoms and common sense lost in the obama years. I fear not , when you factor the ignorance and the entitlement mentality that is pervasive in our society today. For the first time in my life, I think we are really ripe for a revolution.

With Obama, we have barely dipped our toes into the healing waters of overdue reform. We have a long, long way to go to, as Obama says, make a more perfect union. Oh, and instead of a revolution, why don't you right wingers start by winning an election? That is how it was done in the good ole days.

Not going to happen. Sadly, we've passed the tipping point of too many takers in our society and not enough contributors.

Again, we've passed the tipping point of too many dependent on government welfare handouts and too few citizens who've earned their living/retirement.

Yes perfect for the takers, the "non-producers", the losers. So do you really expect the doers to be happy?

Forget happy, the parasites will kill off the host as they always do. It's evolutionary.

Eventually the empire will fall, but america will be in death throes for awhile yet.

Not sure. What we all need to pray is that something like happened in Iran in 1979 doesn't happen here. For those who think it can't, you might want to read a little history. Emphasis on doing what feels good and individualism, instead of individuals practicing community responsibility has generally indicated a powerhouse society in decline.

Next we will be fighting over who grew more beans than the next person and the non-productive who sat there and watched as everyone worked to harvest will demand a share.

The pendulum has swung so far to the left? What country are you living in? We have a president who is right of center (yes, to the great dismay of liberals, he is); and the Tea Party, who rules the House, and for the last three years, pretty much all of Congress, is so far to the right that the middle is just a faint speck on the horizon. We haven't begun to swing back to the left.

But it's coming.
