I feel exactly the same way about everyone involved on both sides of that situation, you don't vote without everyone present and you don't run away from a vote in order to delay the inevitable.

One was poor behavior I would not want other statesmen to emulate. The other was flat-out illegal behavior by a bunch of thugs. I dislike both, but attempts to make the two equivalent are transparent in their intentions.

It wasn't just poor behavior, it was pure obstructionism and it was job abandonment. Those representatives took an oath to represent their constituents after they were elected and instead of doing that job they ran away to avoid a fair vote.

You dislike both but you're willing to downplay what Democrats did while exaggerating what the Reps tried to do. You, like the OP are simply acting like a partisan and it's quite pathetic.
