Just think what the world could do with one billion dollars per day;

Build roads all over the world to help people move about easier

Build wells and water storage to help people feed themselves

Pay off national debts

Reduce taxes so workers would have more money to improve their standard of living

Give the uber poor in India and Africa a shelter

Clean up all of our toxic waste sites

Build parks so more people could enjoy them

Give the uber poor around the world dental care

Buy land for nature preserves

Clean up polluted rivers

But no, our pathetic leaders have chosen to line the pockets of the wealthy at the expense of the workers with this billion dollars per day.

The whole world? 1 billion isn't much on that scale. How much is the whole world spending on the other things you listed?

So how are we doing in our battle against global warming?

What is the threshold of money spent to realize a turnaround?

How do we know when we have achieved success?

Who is profiting from all this cash.. it is going somewhere?

Depends on where that money goes to. Trying to reduce the amount of pollutants we pump into the air is good for the human race.

You are correct. But the problem is this doesn't reduce the amount of pollutants we pump into the air.

It would be very good to reduce pollutants all over the globe. Too bad the AGW alarmists have directed so much money away from pollutions reduction and into CO2 reduction.

while trying to reduce the amount of polutants pumped into the air/water/earth is certainly a good thing for the human race...it has NOTHING to do with global climate change

Which pollutants should we as a world be focusing on?

And? If people wish to use global climate change to help reduce pollutants from our air, water, and ground, that is a good thing for the survival of the human race. We need the resources on this planet more than the planet needs us.
