It's really not a "maybe" anymore.

Sorry folks, as a gun owner this is the reason there are too many guns out there. People who do not respect the responsibility of gun ownership should be held at fault.

Gun ownership is a const. right that needs to be protected. One of those protections is to keep your weapon secured.

No the gun already existed, no new gun was made because this one was stolen.

In the article, it was leaning outside of a gun safe. Total lack of respect of gun ownership. It mentions a son's weapon, I have never allowed my weapon to be unsecured and taught my children the proper respect to be shown towards their weapons.
A problem in many aspects.

It's her fault that there was something valuable left out where it could be snatched.

As for witch hunts, fiddlesticks. I rather get the impression the sane among us are laughing at her. And I am too.

Where does it say it was her gun and where does it say she is the one that left it unlocked?

It doesn't.

Ever get sick of losing these discussions?

Steak and kitchen knives kill more people than AR-15's every year. Year after year after year.

Hey, look who else didn't read the article! Well played sir! Somehow you also know the truth when there is no way of knowing if it was the hubby, grandpa, a daughter home from college....

You managed to correctly discern (somehow?) that it was this republican congresswomans fault.

Of course it couldn't possibly be a witch hunt when you blame someone without any proof.

It's just so easy to let the rope play out around here until you guys hang yourselves over and over and over.....

So if someone comes into a home uninvited and steals alcohol, drinks it, gets in a car, drives drunk, and kills or injuries someone it's the homeowner's fault for not locking their door ......right?
