I watched this last night and was immediately reminded of this statement made by Pennsylvania House Majority Leader Mike Turzai (R) last June regarding Pennsylvania's voter ID law:

Every once in a while a Republican is stupid enough to actually tell the truth about their push for these needless laws. Not that any of us with a brain ever needed to be told. It's been apparent from the start that this is their attempt to disenfranchise as many opposition voters as possible, because it's getting to the point where Republicans can't win any other way.
