Like I said earlier in this thread if THEY want to pay for it fine. My point is it won't matter to the poor children liberals love. Don't matter what school these kids go to they will never forget. IMO it would be better to go to the same school and remember their friends and what happened.
There are future generations of school children to consider. No doubt, one generation has been haunted forever. By leaving the school open, the damage goes on and on, down to the others who follow.
This memory of what happened in that school makes me so sad. I couldn't judge anybody for wanting to do what they they want to do with that damned school. Tear it down and build a memorial.

What? Who is haunted forever but the children who witnessed it all? Should we build new schools every time a kid commits suicide? Are you kidding me. This is a life lesson for these children. Like I said folks think kids are dumb and they aren't. You really think a "future generation" child will even care what happened? They only will if their parents freak out. Gimme a break. You make no sense. Why have war memorials if your right it may go on and on down to others. Unreal.........
And does that not raise speculation that there was something to hide?
It raises speculation on my part that the government may indeed be spiking the water supply with a drug that induces wild paranoia and other mental illnesses in order to help pharmaceutical companies make money.

I think they could have re-designed the building, maybe put on an addition etc. instead of tearing it down.
I mean why stop there and not change the name of the town too since the name now lives on in infamy.
There are some historical precedents to a name being retired essentially due to it being associated with something bad. Not too many kids named Adolph anymore.

Yes lets tear everything down and build a memorial. Hey joe got shot on the corner..........tear down the block and build a memorial. Now why don't we do that everywhere? Oh because nobody cares about Joe he's not on the friggen news. YOU pay for it if you want it I don't want it and don't wan't to pay for it. I pay for my kids something that is a lost art in the US today.

Well if you read the news the one who was ended up being taken by big bro.
Not the point though. Moving kids to another school will not eradicate what happened to them in this situation.
Who wants to send their kids to a school & classroom where twenty kids were murdered?
It's not uncommon for notorious murder houses to be razed.
What could possibly be in the school that needs to be destroyed as part of a cover up?
Contractors and demolition crews have to sign confidentiality agreements, what are they hiding?
I think the this whole thing was staged to instill fear and boost ratings for weapons confiscation. With that said, tearing the school down just to build another one in it's place could not be more stupid. If there were any real terrorists out there, they are winning - the American spirit is dead and cowering in the corner. What a pity.

Why do we have war memorials? To remember, of course.
Don't you think that the death of 22 children will be remembered every time a child sees the old schoolhouse? Children learn about horrors like this early, because parents tell them, and it all passes on, just like memories of war do.
Newtown will never forget those deaths. But if demolishing the school eases their pain and removes future nightmares for their children, why is this such a bad thing in your mind?
Are you merely hard hearted, or are you a sociopath of some kind? Why do you wish such misery on others? Don't you have any loved ones?
Don't be so obtuse.
