They look the other way at the murders, torture and destroyed lives for personal gain in a display of selfishness and disregard for others.

I did hear about Eminem and Tommy Lee beating up their partners, but I thought we were still considering only talented musicians.
Eminem and his wife had a similar relationship to Rihanna and Chris Brown. Eminem realized he was wrong and moved on for the most part. Same with Tommy Lee.
Chris Brown hasn't reached that point yet and is only enabled by the system (Whether it is because of the overcrowded prisons or super-leniency.) Until he does, he will think it's fine to get into fights with fellow musicians and fans trying to photo-bomb him.
I know Rihanna isn't totally innocent but compared to Chris Brown (who went above and beyond whatever Rihanna did) she is.
