Being "told what to do" is a ridiculous conclusion. That is my analysis.
Right. You are just expressing what you believe, not what you know.

Which new facts came out after the hearings? Did Darrell "Inspector Clouseau" Issa unearth any further smoking guns?

An Ambassador is not attached to the DoD in any form.
And the state dept has a responsibility to protect ALL US Ambassadors and their staff as they serve at the request of the president. I guess Ambassadors and staff should sign off an acknowledgement that they serve at their own risk and understand that if there is a threat of harm it is up to them to get themselves out of harms way.

The problem is less about the attack and more about the lame stupid lies for the attack.

I don't remember Democrats whining about it two years later.
Again, the problem was less with the poor judgement but more about the lies to try and cover up for the poor judgement.

Pretty much like the wife is last to know. Everyone knows the husband is cheating, except her. Well, she does know and did know for a while, but she would rather live in denial.

Really? You had to dig those incidents up, where no Ambassador died? Keep digging and let us know when you reach China.
