Why do people want government involved in health care again?
Because they somehow think if the government administers it, it will be free. They're very deluded.
I've tried telling them repeatedly that the countries that have national healthcare have HIGHLY REGRESSIVE tax systems to PAY for it. That means those earning low- and middle incomes are hit the hardest by the tax bills:

For some reason, even with the facts right in front of them, they're still too stupid to understand that they'd have to pay A LOT for national healthcare.
I really, really would like to read an honest biography of Carney. I'm just so amazed that he can stand up there, day after day, and say the stuff he does with a straight face. He's either so stupid that he doesn't have feeling and know what he is doing . . . or he is so brilliant that he's actually getting us to purchase the snake oil. I'd love to know his honest feelings. Kinda expected him to bail after the election. Guess he's being paid a whole lot to stay on and to be able to put up with this crap.
OMG, I miss Baghdad Bob. Some of us bloggers, back in the day, used to have so much fun with that tool, and the photo that another poster put up under your post. hahahahah, thanks for the memories.
