My sister is 56 and works for pennies in rural Kansas.
They put her back on full time because they could not find anyone to replace her lost hours, and get done what she did.
They take 20 a week from her small check to pay for her insurance. They have to be matching it.
She had no insurance when they had her dropped to part time.

And yet you don't think $591 a month is too high under oblamercare.

There's no such thing as full-blown healthcare insurance for a woman of any age for only $54/mo.. much less one in her 50's. If she got cancer or a serious heart problem, we would have wound up paying for it because the insurance would not even put a dent in paying for it.

It's ridiculous that people keep pointing to these "increases" as some sort of gotcha moment.

ahahahhaa. OMG. her plan....her plan didn't cover anything. it was basically "look here is $50 for a office visit...but if you get like...actually sick...we dont know you"

Cancelling that plan was a favor. Even better-she didnt even know how bad it was. she was all thinking "I have health insurance, im ok" Kinda like wearing a bullet proof vest and asking people to shoot at you.

What plan? I pay $66.50 and have universal health care....No way $54 will cover anything.

The Weekly Standard is a neoconservative opinion magazine...I'm not buying this story at all.

It was already exposed as BS, but as you can see many posters still believe it.
